You know, I have for my part always been fascinated by how much we deceive ourselves as humans thinking we can help nature or even do it better. Funny thing, earth has been around for centuries - eons - and earth is still here. And the most interesting part is that nowadays that we happen to be doing the most (allegedly) to help the earth is when the earth is dying the fastest and the worst.


Nature heals, as do most substances and phenomena that originate from nature. That's why I really I'm not surprised to learn of DHA and all of its benefits to man and his health. The essential polyunsaturated fatty acid, docosahexaenoic acid helps with the treatment and prevention of more diseases than you probably realize.


As an Omega-3 fat, DHA helps to promote the development of favorable prostaglandins after having been supplied mostly by certain types of fish and fish oils. The human body is able to convert alpha-linolenic acid DHA and EPA, but the body's ability to form these conditionally essential compounds is limited.


Like DHA, EPA is also a polyunsaturated fatty acid found richly in fish oils. Eicosapentaenoic acid like DHA is known for its ability to lower inflammation in the human body, which makes them both a natural anti-aging treatment when taken through consumption of the fish. Eating them, you get to produce these health-promoting prostaglandins and increase your cardiovascular health by lowering cholesterol. This makes your blood less sticky and lowers the incidence of abnormal heart rhythms.


You must know that cardiovascular disease is the number one killer for both men and women in the United States, and along with many other diseases contributes to rapid aging in many individuals.


But rather than spending untold amounts of money on all kinds of produces and lotions from cosmetic companies, you can actually slow your aging process by preventing disease and wiping off your wrinkles when you consume natural fish oils and extracts from cold water fish, seafood and certain algae. You do want to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease, do you not? The health benefits of natural fish oil are irrefutable, so you know where to begin from at the very least.
